The Checkmate Jacket is made from 100% genuine full-grain leather — the same grade used in high-end fashion. We do not use bonded leather, split leather, or any synthetic material. Each hide is selected for quality and hand-cut at our workshop. The leather will naturally soften and develop a richer patina the more you wear it, which is a hallmark of authentic leather that faux products simply cannot replicate..

Is this Jacket Unisex? Will it fit women well?

The Checkmate Jacket is designed as a true unisex piece. The oversized collar, bomber silhouette, and ribbed cuffs and hem work equally well on all body types. Many of our female customers order one size down from their usual for a more fitted look, or size up for an oversized streetwear aesthetic.
